yesterday, I was more than half an hour late to meet my girls at Cityhall Mrt. I was stuck in a traffic jam due to the annual Chingay thingy. roads was blocked here and there. when I finally reached Marina Square, it was about 1755. Yi messaged and said she will joined us slightly later.
I already booked a table fer the 4 of us 1 day in advance at Sakae Sushi. I requested the floor seats. the typical japanese type where there's a hole underneath the table to put our legs. =)
3 of us went in and we had difficulty getting our legs under the table cos I wore tight jeans with heels, Ber wore mini skirt with heels and Yvonne wore skirt with flats. =(
our suggestion : wear shorts and slippers. can get in and out easily without sweat.
we ate and chatted alot while waiting fer Yi. Ber passed me the present they bought fer me. when I opened it, I'm so damn speechless that i let out a shriek.

I'm so over the moon and stars.
while the tables beside and behind us already had a change of about 3 groups of people. we were still sitting there and laughing our lungs out.
we asked fer bill and decided to window shopped there. not much to see cos some shops were not open yet.
along our way, we saw fireworks fer a mere 5 minutes. to be exact, we saw the reflections of the fireworks. it was so-so only. imagine the amount of money spent on them. =(
we sat down and discussed where to go. final conclusion was to Madam Wong in which Lian will meet us there.
Yvonne went home and the 3 of us ( Me, Ber & Yi ) headed down.
MOS got no long queue at all. maybe about 10 people was in the line with few groups of people hanging around nearby.
we reached Madam Wong at 2150.
YEH !!! before 10pm no cover charge. 3 housepours at only 39 nett. quite cheap i think. we ordered whisky 7-up, vodka ribena and bourbon coke.
in the meantime, I'm searching fer the sight of B. I silently wished that he's working. finally, the god answered my prayers. he appeared right beside our table but he did not see us. =(
the aircon above us was blowing directly till I'm shivering non-stop. I suggested we changed our seats and both me and Yi went to the front and found some empty tables. we moved there and it was so much better. not that cold anymore.
we were playing 5, 10 when I turned around and saw B. we smiled and I thought " he don't recognise us ? " halfway into the game, a waiter approached our table and asked something like " are you ivy? do you know a guy named B ? "
so. he actually found us familiar. =)
and his game started.
I was happily drinking and chatting when I felt something hit my back. at the same time, Ber was touching her hair so I naturally thought her arm hit my back. but couldn't be that hard right ? so I told her that I felt someone throwing things at our table. we turned around and nothing seemed amiss. so, we continued.
it hit me again. this time on my bare back. ( I'm wearing halter top ) I felt something icy slided down. gosh. my doubts were confirmed. someone threw ice at me. I turned around and it's the same situation. nobody seemed to be the one.
at that time, Lian arrived in a woohooo sexy gear. my attention span was onto her and fer like 30 seconds, I totally forgot about the hitting affair. =P
I ignored and it continued a few times till Yi caught B throwing ice at me.
ahhhh... so B was the culprit afterall.
we requested fer a glass of ice. motive was to attack back at him. it was fun fer us throwing the ice and hitting the bar, waiters and B sometimes.
I signalled fer B to come over. I asked him nonchalantly " you remember us huh. why don't you walk over and say hi? "
B said in a very mischevious tone and grinning away " of cos I remember. so you like it, I threw ices at you? "
" I don't like it, duh. "
we started laughing away. we resumed drinking and playing games. some idiotic guys were hitting on us. I told Ber that I don't want them to sit with us. so off they went.
step by step, my surprise was on its way.
Lian accompanied Yi to find atm so left me and Ber in the club. both went fer such a long time. I'm starting to get abit worried fer them. finally they were back.
less than 5 minutes later at the stroke of 12, I heard a dedication fer the birthday girl, Ivy which is me. =)

my tears welled up when I saw B lit a candle and walked towards our table. then I realised what took them so long. they went searching fer cake.
ahhhhhh.... they are my sweetest pals !!!!! I love you guys alot.
they sang birthday song fer me and I made 4 wishes. I'm so greedy. haha.
Lian suggested B and I fed each other the first mouthful of the chocolate chip ice-cream. so pai-seh but I'm glad to do it cos he's a cutie and sweetie. ooppss.
he gave me a big hug and a peck on my cheeks.
so we ate the ice cream and that group of idiotic guys came over again with some self intro and wishing. the most sickening one even asked me to drink that bourbon coke he ordered. I don't drink bourbon coke cos I don't like the taste. and he said whatever shitty stuff like I'm the birthday girl and must be sporty blah blah blah. i told him that he and pair can stay fer only 10 minutes. afterwhich please leave.
10 minutes later, their asses still glued to the seats. i told him ( the most sickening of the lot ) in a pissed tone that time's up. he replied with a pitiful look " ohhh, don't be so mean. you really want us to leave? "
" OHHH YES, PLEASE LEAVE. " I counted 1-10 and waved good-bye to them including their drinks.
yeah, I'm MEAN. only to certain types of people. I seriously hate people eavesdropping on us or whoever is talking. he belonged to that category.
so they left. Ber and Lian were at the dance floor dancing. me and Yi were just drinking and chatting away. I think at that point of time, both of us drank quite alot.
at around 1.15am, we went to the washroom to puke. I puked a bucket full of shitload into the toiletbowl. my nose was in such a painful state. that's was bad. Yi and I stayed inside fer another 5 minutes+ in case we wanna puke again. Ber went in to look fer us. I must admit that after puking, I felt so much better but the throbbing headaches simply won't go away.
I drank 2 glasses of ice water and still felt bad. I asked B fer some sweets and he bought fer me. so sweet. sweet. sweet. he asked me did I see any stars or 2 of him. haha.
Yi couldn't take it any longer so we left early. I'm so worried fer her cos she puked more than me. =(
