Miscommunication or Being Set Up?

just now during my lunch time, my mum called me and asked :

" HOW COME NEXT MONTH BOTH OF YOU GOING TO ROM AND WE DUN EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT? YOU ACTUALLY SENT AN SMS TELLING JIE ( MY NEIGHBOUR ) TO ATTEND YOUR WEDDING. HER MUM WENT TO TELL YOUR GRANDMA AND SHE SO SHOCKED TO HEAR ABOUT IT. SO WHAT'S NOW? I REALLY DON'T BELIEVE THIS. "

i'm speechless and fuming mad, thus i talked back to my mum in my overly loud tone, telling her my side of story.

" HOW COME WE OURSELVES GOING TO ROM AND YET WE HAVE NO SLIGHTEST IDEA OF IT? "

mum : " that's why i told grandma that it's so not true. i asked her to check with jie's mum again. "

so, someone used my name and set us up.

the point is why do i need to tell her first and not my own parents instead?

there are alot of plannings to be done before going to ROM.

ie : where to stay? where to have the wedding buffet/dinner? type of wedding shoot. buying of furniture. honeymoon location. invitation cards etc etc.

the list goes on and on.

darling and i in fact did planned to go ROM but the time is just not right now.

so when we do, we will inform everyone but it will be after getting our blessings from our loved ones first.

till then, all blessings in whatever form will be accepted.

A Trip To Night Safari & Movies We Watched.

i got so much things to blog but simply dunno where to start.

so to begin, we went to the night safari last thursday, courtesy of dad's boss who was so kind to give us the family package tickets.

ohhh well, i went there twice already. the third time was pretty much the same except that the entrance ticket is hiked up a few dollars more and quite newly renovated.

very very safari style with the " hu ga hu ga " " sha ga sha ga " music in the background.

as usual, it's still very dimly light.

worth going if you are a kid under the age of 8.

***************************

darling and i were chatting about how many movies we have watched together.

luckily i did not throw away the ticket stubs thus able to list them out.

here we go.

1) Silther @ Shaw Prince/Jade
2) Superman Returns @ GV Plaza
3) Re-Cycle @ Eng Wah Suntec
4) Dragon Tiger Gate @ The Cathay
5) Click @ The Cathay
6) My Super Ex-Girlfriend @ The Cathay
7) An American Haunting @ The Cathay
8) Ghost Game @ The Cathay

( p.s: 7&8 was our 1st movie marathon yesterday, 1 show after another )

basically, nothing much fer couples to do in singapore except to watch movie, shopping and eat?

strolling at beaches?

hmmm... let me think.

...... ...... ......

it seems like there's only these 4 things on my mind now.

alright. hang in there baby, we will find more things to do together.

darling : " i.e ? "
darleen : " ..... "

Our 1st Fireworks @ The Esplanade

we watched our 1st fireworks together by team singapore on the eve of National Day. =)

it is so romantic being able to catch it with the one you love deeply.

the whole of the Esplanade L-shaped bridge were filled with people of all nationalities.

we did the most unthinkable - we sat on the high railings behind the bushes and beneath a lamppost.

-_-'''

not only we, but the majority of people who could not squeezed on to the bridge.

some of them climbed up by the side of the road, carrying babies and passing them to strangers before they can climb up.

once the firworks started, all the cars on both sides of the roads stopped in any direction you could imagine.

they sat on top of their cars with their cameras and videocams.

everyone was oooo-ing loudly.

gorgeous.

gorgeous.

gorgeous.

no photos cos i forgotton to bring my digicam but will try to upload the video taken by darling.

i will try to catch the 3rd and 4th teams this coming friday and saturday.

DHL Balloon @ Tan Quee Lan Street

we took the DHL Balloon last sunday.

i t was a great experience.

me, having a Acrophobia was unwillingly to go up with them when i saw how HUGE it is.

but then, being a true blue kiasu singaporean, having a 20% discount was worth the try and fears.

thus, we went up together.

photos will be up soon after i finish uploading them.

tata.
