12 Days In Shanghai
Good news first !! com is back !! Yippie !!!
I'm back from gorgeous Shanghai !!!
It was a FANTASTIC VACATION !!!
Firstly, the weather is very cold. i never pespire, not even abit. i smelled nice throughout the day, just like my ' be delicious ' perfume. =)
Secondly, the stuff are damn freaking cheap over there. i'm like stashing prices lower and lower,
bargaining here and there.
Thirdly, walking along the 10km Nanjing Road with antique-looking buildings simply just blew me away, while at the end of Nanjing Road is the famously beautiful Wai Tan with breath-taking scenery which overlooks Pu Dong.
Fourthly, the people there always mistook me and Fen as Japanese or Korean. eh hmm. =P
I took gazillion photos and almost everyday i'm charging my digicam there.
Just imagine that.
Well, pictures speak a thousand words.
Here we go.
16th Dec :
reached Changi Airport Terminal 2. it was a long queue at Singapore Airlines check-in counter. after checking-in, we spent a long time shopping fer perfumes and cigarettes, walking from one shop to another. finally we were done and ran to the boarding gate cos the gate was closing soon. haha. we were the last few to board flight SQ 836. the flight to Shanghai was quite smooth except fer some minor turbulence.
Fen's bf Andy and his friend, Leaf fetched us at Pu Dong Airport. ( don't laugh at the name, its the correct spelling. ) we finally experienced what's the definition of ' cold '. checked in at motel 168. comfy and quiet. settled down abit before heading out fer some supper opposite our little motel.

today was -4 degrees. its damn freezing the whole day especially at night. my fingers and nose was so numbed that at some point of time i thought i got a frostbite. i'm so cold that i can't talked properly, my words were like bluuurrrrrrr and i had to repeat myself twice. =(
went to XiangYang road to shop fer cheap bags, wallets etc etc. my gloves which i bought from winter time in Singapore was ripped at the forefinger. i had to get a new one. i saw a grey one and i pretty like it alot. when i asked fer the price, the guy said it cost RMB 180. i was so speechless that i just stared at him with a shocked face. my cousin took out the gloves and pulled me away saying its ridiculous fer a pair of gloves to cost so much. as soon as we walked away, he shouted at us saying what price we wanted. so we said RMB 25. he immediately agreed. gosh, RMB 180 to RMB 25. what a big difference. we can't stand the extreme cold weather and walked back to the shopping centre to have dinner. we had pasta, mushroom soup and fries at gino cafe. after which, we bought some dvds and cds.

Good Bye Shanghai.
boarded flight SQ 805 pretty late. 2 very good Singaporeans helped us to put our handcarry bags up the cabin. very thankful to them. the flight back was full of turbulence, mostly minor to medium ones. i watched 'the 40 year old virgin' and listened to my own playlist. played super mario and realised that i am so bad with games. i gave up!! i also dozed off every now and then. i bought a bear and 2 keychains on board the flight. after descending and out of the customs, i bought absout vodka apeach and beer. collected our luggages and went home in maxicab.
